I have to say that you have to take the performance claims of a lot of these 3d cards with a little
salt. They claim x number of polys/sec. Is this flat or gourand shaded? Textured or non textured and
most importantly how many pixels are in each of these polys? If they claim 160,000 polys per second,
is that 160,000 3 pixel polys per second in a 160x120 area? As with everything else in this industry
once you sift out the chaff whats left is a lot less than was expected.
